14. Stun Guns vs. Tasers?

Stun Guns are commonly miscalled "Tazers." Tasers are the projectile wires and darts that are generally used by domestic law enforcement and made by TASER INTERNATIONAL. Stun Guns, traditionally and statistically, are designed for REAL LIFE ASSAULTS that happen up-close and are also designed to stop vicious animal attacks.

15. What about these Stun Guns that claim to generate millions of volts?

Millions, billions and might as well be, trillions of volts?? DOESN'T MATTER! In fact, irrational claims of high volts is usually a CONSUMER RED FLAG. Many Stun Guns advertise ridiculous claims of millions of volts. You must use your common sense as an intelligent consumer. A cheap Stun Gun, with a cheap rechargeable battery is a cheap low quality Stun Gun regardless of its claims of high voltage or other fantastic marketing claims.

VOLTS, AMPS, MICROCOULOMBS, OH MY!

MICROCOULOMBS? This is a new marketing term introduced by a competitor who has launched smear campaigns and expensive propaganda videos in the name of its "scientific studies," which, "coincidentally," came to very favorable conclusions about their products in the new name of microcoulombs. This same company used to label their products "millions of volts" until their marketing analysts realized that consumers became aware that high voltage claims did not sell stun guns anymore so they now claim that those same products that used to claim millions of volts now have "microcoulombs." 

The first key to a powerful Stun Gun is the quality of the interior components: high voltage coils, capacitors, step-up-transformer and, of course, the battery! If a company uses cheap materials and a cheap rechargeable battery, we don't care what scientific study or terminology they use, the product will remain low in quality and has a higher chance of failing.

Secondly, the product must generate amperage or have the right amount of AMPS. Without amperage the electrical curve is flat. AMPERAGE is the key to a powerful Stun Gun. 16. Why don't you make pink stun guns or stun guns that look like lipstick and cell phones?

O-Mega has beautiful designer holsters to easily conceal your stun gun when it is not in use. However, carrying Stun Guns that are pink or Stun Guns that look like lipstick or cell phones is almost like encouraging someone not to take you seriously and to attack! The Stun Guns itself is a deterrent against animals and human beings. It is supposed to look futuristic, threatening, loud and scary. It is intended to be used and brandished in order to draw attention at night and to make attackers reconsider you as their next target. Please don't try to threaten people with cheap stun guns that look like pens, lip stick, cell phones or pink cameras and often can't generate enough Amperage to stop a chicken.

17. Are O-Mega Stun Guns and Stun Batons effective against vicious animals?

O-Mega Stun Guns and Stun Batons are used by many of the FORTUNE 500 Power Companies and Animal Control Departments for protection against vicious animals when they go on house calls. We have designed our Stun Guns so that the sound combined with bright electric light triggers an instinctive flight mechanism animals feel toward lightning.

18. What about dogs? Are the Stun Guns and Stun Batons safe for dogs?

Walking your dog is a fun thing to do. But many of us worry about encountering an unfriendly dog. What if the dog was to attack? What would you do? How would you effectively and safely stop the situation? We all love our dogs and wouldn't want them to get hurt in anyway. It's our job to love and protect them. Dogfights can be scary, gruesome, and heart-wrenching. You feel powerless because you don't know how to safely break it up. Not to mention the expensive vet bills that follow. But what can we do? We can't control the other dogs that are left to roam the streets without leashes or those with irresponsible owners. And being a true dog lover, we don't want to harm the attacking dog either. We just want to stop the attack as quick and as safely as possible. A STUN GUN or STUN BATON is the only safe and humane way to handle this situation, protecting you and yours, without permanently hurting the animals.

19. Why are O-Mega Stun Guns so much better than pepper spray?

Pepper Spray, pre-supposes that an attacker will come from the front. In an ideal world, an attacker would give you ample warning from 15 ft. in front of you, so you can aim your pepper spray at him as he slowly walks toward you. However, this is not the way attacks occur in the real world. 95% of attacks on women happen from the side or from the back. You need something in your hand that you can use, easily, over your shoulder or by reaching behind you, if someone grabs you. Stun Guns are loud and scary, they warn people and animals to stay back, they draw attention at night, and they make you look aggressive. Pepper spray does none of these things. Finally, pepper spray has an expiration date.

20. What happens if the person attacking me, is touching me, when I stun them?

Don't worry! With O-MEGA STUN GUNS there is no "charge-back." Meaning: if someone is grabbing you, when you stun them, you will not feel the shock. Only the person, you stun, will feel the stun, even if they are holding you. The same principle applies to animals.
